1947 Brasserie is a brand new French brasserie which first opened its doors in mid December 2020. Blurring the lines between bistro and brasserie, 1947 Brasserie features a relaxed environment with an incredible selection of wines and beers to accompany you with a fine dining experience to accomodate every occasion.
Our flagship restaurant is nested in the beautiful, green space suburb of Rozelle, located only 10 minutes from the CBD. Drawing inspiration from local Australian produce as well as the wonderful surrounding locale, 1947 Brasserie team has created a delightful seasonal menu reflecting upon his interpretation of contemporary French cuisine.
We offer a consistent supply of fresh seafood delivered straight to your plate to ensure the greatest quality for your pleasure. Try some freshly shucked oysters served with a crystal red mignonette sauce to indulge your taste buds, whilst you await the smokey goodness of char grilled Yamba prawns. Perhaps if seafood is not for you, we have amazing cuts of premium marbled Riverine scotch and sirloin meats, topped with our signature Cafe de Paris sauce to fulfill your carniverous desires.
For our vegetarian and vegan friends, we also serve a lovely assortment of natural dishes. Be sure to palette yourself to our heritage tomato dish. Presented on stracciatella cheese, and decorated with figs, olives, and microherbs, it will paint you a portrait into the garden of mother Nature herself.
